Tomb of Cicero open: Sunday 1 November 2026
The last special opening of the year: Sunday 1 November, 9:30 am–1:30 pm, free self-guided visit to the mausoleum on the Via Appia.
On Sunday 1 November 2026, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, the Tomb of Cicero opens to the public with free, self-guided entry. It is the last special opening scheduled by the regional directorate of national museums of Lazio.
The mausoleum is on the Via Appia at km 139. Groups of more than 20 people are advised to book at drm-laz.muformia@cultura.gov.it. On the same day the National Archaeological Museum of Formia is free for the first Sunday of the month.
