From Rifugio di Pornito, the CAI 960 trail climbs the southern slope of Monte Altino. The official Parchi Lazio guide classifies the route as E — hiking, indicating 4 km, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with 570 meters of ascent and 230 meters of descent.

Eremo di San Michele

A detour leads to the hermitage, nestled into the rock face. It is a fragile religious site; please visit with respect and stay on the marked path.

Redentore Summit

Back on the trail, you reach the saddle and then the summit. The route is marked by CAI signs but has no water points or rest areas and is not accessible to strollers or wheelchair users.
