The coastal protected area featuring Mediterranean scrub, cliffs, trails, and Roman ruins.
The Parco regionale di Gianola e Monte di Scauri protects one of the most important green stretches along the Gulf of Gaeta coast. Cork oaks, Mediterranean scrub, cliffs, and protected seabeds coexist with the archaeological remains of the Villa di Mamurra.
The park includes several trails and points of interest, which vary in difficulty and accessibility. Before choosing your route, it is necessary to check the maps and notices from the management authority; protected and marine areas should be photographed without straying from the permitted paths.
