Villa di Mamurra

In the Parco di Gianola lie the remains of the maritime villa traditionally attributed to Lucius Mamurra, a Roman knight originally from Formia. Terraces, cisterns, and structures overlooking the sea showcase the close relationship between architecture, water, and landscape.

The value of the visit stems from the combination of archaeology and nature. The remains are spread throughout the park and require attention to the trails; guided openings and access must be verified on the Municipality's website.
