The medieval cylindrical tower that defines the seaside district of Mola.
Torre di Mola is the most prominent remnant of the medieval fortified complex built by the sea. Its cylindrical mass dominates the district of the same name and tells a different story from that of Roman Formia, linked to coastal defense and the history of the Kingdom of Naples.
The urban and port setting makes the tower a natural stop during a walk in Mola. The interior spaces are not always accessible: the Municipality's website is the correct reference to check for any openings.
