Roman Small Port of Gianola

A small inlet with ancient structures for water management and fish farming.

The Roman Small Port of Gianola is located on the edge of the complex attributed to Mamurra. The structures visible along the inlet recall the ancient use of basins and water control, in a spot where springs and the sea meet.

The site is best understood when visited as part of a route through the park and the villa. It is a delicate coastal environment: please follow the designated paths and check for any restrictions with the managing authority.
